The Service You Need, When You Need It
Although the EMR Match™ platform contains
lots of educational materials and some self-help tools, the platform was not conceived nor designed as an end-to-end, self-help
solution. Most EMR/PM system buyers will find it advantageous to hire an expert EMR/PM system consultant at some point
during their project, and for many, it will be wise to hire a consultant early on in the process.
Two Levels of EMR Consulting Services
Within EMR Match™ we offer two levels of consulting services.
"Tier 1" services are more informal and typically involve use of consultants for high-level planning exercises, question-and-answer
sessions, participation in vendor demos, etc. Tier 1 consluting services costs less per hour and can often be performed remotely.
"Tier 2" services consists of full-on consulting services, such as those required for selecting and purchasing hardware,
installing a new system, implementing a new system, data conversion, etc. Tier 2 services cost relatively more per hour and usually
must be performed onsite (at your location).
For example, you might use a Tier 1 consultant to help you answer the EMR Screen™
Buyer Questionnaire, further refine and validate your needs and preferences within
EMR Select™, and participate with you in some carefully-structured demos with
a small number of system vendors. You might use the same or a different consultant for installation and implementation of your new
EMR/PM system.
